The Mentor is a volunteer who has time and interest to offer advice and direct Entrepreneurs to find necessary resources to overcome business challenges and solidify new opportunities.
Acts as a:
- Business Advisor to help Entrepreneurs prioritize steps in making career decisions by acting as a business advisor keeping Entrepreneur on track and providing positive encouragement and timely assistance.
- Problem Solver saving Entrepreneurs time by helping to locate best provider and provide referrals based on understanding of provider's services for Entrepreneur's success.
- Guide in expressing patience and concern when providing assistance, realizing financial and time constraints of Entrepreneurs and uncomfortable risk involved in taking on a new business venture.
- Time saver to help Entrepreneurs:
- define business needs.
- research necessary outlets/contacts.
- provide technical assistance with Network system.
- put business plan into action.
